Issie was based in Germany where she worked in a wet lab looking at perspective memory using techniques such as EEG.
Daniel was based in Exeter looking at how electrical activity in neurons changes throughout the day using the patch clamp technique.

Laura was in the UK working for Eli Lilly doing in vivo chronic pain research.
Stan worked in a hospital in London looking at associations of patients with type II diabetes and kidney disease. He also worked on clinical trials that were testing new drugs for patients with type II diabetes.

She was looking at epigenetic links to schizophrenia and focused on a specific subgroup of people with a genetic deletion.
